I'm so excited, I'm drooling!
Hi all! Just getting ready to do a movie marathon, so I thought I'd better do this before I forget!
Today's movie is Hard Candy about a pedophile who hooks up with a girl who stalks pedipholes! You can probably immagine what happens next! Although the film goes over the edge a few times, it is really powerful and VERY worthwhile! See it, it's good!
Wow! I sure didn't write much, sorry!
Anyway. that's all for now, I'm going to go get some movies now!
Have a good day everyone!
Bye

Just Got Back
about 1 hour ago. I had LOTS of fun, and, for those of you wondering, I wound up doing Space Mountain First.
I watched Happy Feet on the plane home, and after seeing it again, I'm very dissapointed that it won best animated feature at the academy awards. It's slow moving, somewhat inappropriate for kids, and doesn't really have much of a story. Cars was much better in my opinion.
Movie of the day is The Messengers. I was half scared to death while watching it, but it was pretty good. It is pretty lame in some parts, and there are some definate plot holes, but Dylan McDermott hasn't lost his touch!
Worst movie of the week is (I hate to say this) Idiocracy. Although it had some very funny moments, and some cool ideas, it was too stupid for my liking. I do like Mike Judge's other movies, but I was disappointed by this film.
I'm glad to be back, and it's nice to be talking to you all again!

Gwen Stacy!
Good news to Spiderman fans! They are finally bringing Gwen Stacy into the show and she will be portrayed by Bryce Dallas Howard with blond hair (wow, that's a stretch!) The rest of the movie looks great too!!
My movie of the day is Aladdin, yes the Disney version. I'm sure you all know what it's about, and I had no real reason for choosing it, but it is my favorite Disney movie, so I just thought I'd mention. Fun trivia about the Disney movie Aladdin: There are 513 people listed in the credits, the fireworks seen at the end of the film are reused special effects from The Rescuers, and one more: During the course of recording the voices, Robin Williams improvised so much they had almost 16 hours of material!
I'm going away for a couple weeks, so I won't be posting so have a great couple weeks everyone, and I'll try and post if I have access to a computer.

Favorite Series...
I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been really sick:( Not fun.
Anyway, while thinking about what sort of movie type thing to write about this time, I got to thinking about some of my favorite series. I really like the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, and I liked the first Pirates Of The Carribean (spelling?), but you know, m favorite series in the history of all movies I've seen, are the Nightmare On Elm Street series. Freddy Krueger is definately the best horror villain, the movies are put together in a way that although they do have scary moments, don't leave you too frightened in the end, because they are broken up with a LOT of humour! If you don't like horror movies I'm not telling you to watch these (although you probably would start to like them if you started with this series), but if you are a horror fan, and haven't seen these, you're missing out. And, just so you know, Freddy could kick Jason's butt! Other good horror movies; Psycho, Blair Witch Project, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, Scream(1,2&3), The Messengers, Hellraiser and Scary Movie (yes, I know it's not supposed to be scary, but I still screamed!)
In other news, William H. Macy turned 57 today! Happy B-Day Bill!
Can't think of anything else yet, so I'll sign off!
Bye!!

Woohoo!
I'm going to Disneyland in 8 days! Woohoo, I'm so excited! 4 whole days, by myself, in the Happiest Place on Earth! YAY! I don't know what to do first however. Last time I had it all planned out, but not this time. I guess it'll be more of a surprise.
I saw Pan's Labyrinth last weekend, and I must say, The Lives Of Others must have been REALLY good to have beat it in the foreign film category at the Osacars, even though the Adademy Awards don't always represent the best. Anyway back to the movie: The cinematography, the acting, the direction, the makeup/special effects, the story, everything was absolutely terrific! I was really impressed. Guillermo Del Toro is now officially my favorite director, and this is definately his best film!
In other movie news, Rachel Weisz turns 36 today, and I must say I'm upset at my local movie theatre for not yet bringing us The Fountain, as I am VERY eager to see it!
I also found this really great site where you can buy cube figures (go there and you'll see what they are!) The site is www.cubefigres.com. I can't wait to start my office!
Anyway, I think that's all for me!
If you have any suggestions on what I should do firt in Disneyland, send me a message or comment on this post!
TTFN!

Defying Gravity

Something has changed within me

Something is not the same

I'm through with playing by

The rules of someone else's game

Too late for second-guessing

Too late to go back to sleep

It's time to trust my instincts

Close my eyes

And leap...

It's time to try defying gravity

I think I'll try defying gravity
And you can't pull me down

GLINDA

Can't I make you understand

You're having delusions of grandeur?

ELPHABA

I'm through accepting limits
Cuz someone says they're so
Some things I cannot change
But till I try I'll never know
Too long I've been afraid of
Losing love I guess I've lost
Well if that's love
It comes at much too high a cost

I'd sooner buy defying gravity

Kiss me goodbye, I'm defying gravity

And you can't pull me down!

Glinda, come with me. Think of what we could do - together!

Unlimited

Together we're unlimited

Together we'll be the greatest team

There's ever been - Glinda!

Dreams the way we planned 'em

GLINDA

If we work in tandem

GLINDA & ELPHABA

There's no fight we cannot win

Just you and I, defying gravity

With you and I defying gravity

ELPHABA

They'll never bring us down!

Well, are you coming?

(GLINDA decides to stay behind.)

GLINDA

I hope you're happy

I hope your happy now that your choosing this -

ELPHABA

You too--
I hope it brings you bliss

GLINDA & ELPHABA

I really hope you get it

And you don't live to regret it

I hope you're happy in the end

I hope you're happy my friend

ELPHABA

So if you care to find me
Look to the Western sky!
As someone told me lately
Everyone deserves the chance to fly
And if I'm flying solo
At least I'm flying free
To those who ground me
Take a message back from me!

Tell them how I am defying gravity

I'm flying high, defying gravity

And soon I'll match them in renown

And nobody in all of Oz

No Wizard that there is or was

Is ever gonna bring me down!!

I lovev Wicked! Definately my favorite musical!!!

It would make a fantastic movie, don't you think?

I hate being adjudicated...
I recently perfromed an amateur play for a regional festival, which is where people can watch your play and you get critiqued and praised by a supposedly professional actor/director. The play I was in was not a wonferfully well writen play (as the adjudicator made quite clear) but I thought it was pretty good.
However, after we performed, she talked to the audience a bit about the play and she had only one good thing to say, and that was that it was well cast. She said we needed to work on literally everything else, i.e. lights, blocking, talking, use of space, EVERYTHING, and worst of all, she wasn't even nice about it. She was unfortunately one of those people who didn't earn their place of power, yet still chose to use it to their full advantage. Oh well! What can you do? It just makes me a little sad...
On to brighter news...
Ummm, can't think of any :(
I'll talk to you all later!
Bye-Bye!
